When we’re blanketed in the first snowfall
and all we hear are morning sounds of silence
drawing us nearer to the gratitude that pours into our hearts

And the snowflakes cascade the crisp, blue winter sky
draping naked maple branches in pearls of white
only to float and melt upon…
